  • Updated Guidelines for Mass

We are pleased to announce the lifting of several pandemic protocols in the Diocese of Scranton. Please review the updated masking guidelines listed below. With this hopeful and joyful stage upon us, we encourage all families and individuals to return to the celebration of Holy Mass if it's safe and prudent for your family to do so. For those who still have health concerns, please know that the dispensation from attending Mass remains at this time. Let us continue to pray for an end to the pandemic and for health of mind, body, and spirit for each of us.

Alongside these masking guidelines, other changes now implemented include the opening of all entrances to the church (unlocked 30 minutes before Mass), the opening of all pews within the church (with appropriate physical distancing still encouraged), and the reinstatement of the Sign of Peace within the Mass (without physical contact between non-family members). Additional changes permitted by the Diocese will be discussed and implemented as appropriate in the coming weeks.
